WOYWW #760: December 2023 Review

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! It's time for my monthly review, so here I am sharing some creative highlights from the past month, starting with a desk shot taken last night. It's a little bit staged as I finally managed to tidy up my desk (sort of), which badly needed doing!

In the middle of the shot is my Care December journal, which ran for two weeks and filled my book halfway - the rest of the journal morphed seamlessly into the 5-minute challenge by The Ugly Art Club, which is running until January the 3rd. These 5-minute pages are my favourite way to journal - stress free and an added bonus is that it uses up my scraps! Also in the shot: (1) red book cover cut in half prepped for Junk Journal January (2) the crystals that came out of my advent calendar and (3) a new date stamp as the old one is now out of date - I bought it back in 2014 when I started art journalling almost ten years ago! Little did I know that I was hooked for life!

That's the blurb out of the way - now I'll just show you some of my pages so far:

And finally, here's Oreo with his iconic mono-brow wishing everyone a very happy New Year!

xx

  7. Your pages are divine, love them all. I only have 2024 left on my date stamp, not sure when I bought it but it goes back to 2013, my previous one ran from 2002-2013. I've been saving some packaging so hope to make a junk journal like yours next year some time. Happy New Year Hugs BJ #3

  11. Great to see you! Of course I love the journal pages, and I love the prep of half a book cover for the next thing, you really are very organised. The little bowl of crystals is lovely, very tactile, it will be hard not to spend a good few minutes handling and admiring them every time you approach your desk! Love to you and yours for a very happy new year.

  12. Your journal pages are stunning! I tried the UAC but I just have too much on my plate at the moment - I can't even keep up with Fodder school and Roben-Marie, let alone all the ideas in my head. Bah! I also had to laugh - my Poppy ALSO has a single long whisker-like hair as an eyebrow. Somehome Oreo looks friendly - poppy, not so much. Love her 'tho. :D
    Happy Christmas week WOYWW!

  14. Hi Zsuzsa, sorry I'm so late, I' ve been up anmd down this week as I managed to pick up a cough from somewhere. Thank you for your lovely comments over at mine. Loving your journal pages. I'm going to try and give Collage Kickstart a go that starts tomorrow and just hope I can keep up with it, too many distractions.
