WOYWW #522: ATC Galore (plus 10th Anniversary Meet-up)

So I made it to my first WOYWW crop on Saturday - if only for a flash visit. It was so lovely to meet my fellow deskers, many of whom I have known for years but had never met in person before. Thank you for all the big hugs - I felt so very welcome!

And now I can show you all the ATCs sent/given and received for the 10th anniversary swap, but not before I show you my messy desk, which is a requisite of being a desker. This was taken while I was working on my second round of ATCs. It helped that I was off work last week - a lucky coincidence!

Here are the ATCs I sent for the postal swap (at the time I wasn't sure if I could make it to the crop).

ATCs I sent in the post
Here are the ones that I received, along with some extras. It was so exciting opening the post and I admired the uniqueness of all of these creations!

ATCs received in the post

I took lots of photos at the crop, but I had to put them on a separate page as I couldn't work out how to place an image slider in this post. After two hours of trying, I've concluded that it's not possible. Here's the main group photo that you'll probably see on lots of blogs this week, but for the rest of the crop photos and the photos I took afterwards around the beautiful town of Shrewsbury with my family, please visit THIS PAGE.

And now I can show you the ATCs I made the day before the crop when it became an actual possibility that I'd be able to attend. They're a bit different from my first lot. I never know how they will turn out!
Here are the ATCs and other bits I received at the crop (click on the photo to make it larger). Thank you so much, ladies! I was blown away by your generosity and ultimately, I think I received more than I gave, so please let me know if you didn't get one from me and I'll be happy to send one in the post!

It was lovely meeting everyone - I'm sorry if I didn't recognise all of you - I'm sure I will next time!
Looking forward to another 10 years of desking xx

  2. What a great collection of ATCs, Zsuzsa, both given and received. I was so sorry not to be able to get to the crop and meet everyone. It looks as if you had a great time.

I'm not joining in WOYWW this week because there's nothing to show - been busy working on my PIP application which finally went off yesterday. I'm feeling knackered after all the stress...

  3. Ah. it was sooooo good to meet you in person at long last, even if it was a flying visit! Next time, come for the whole day :-) Thank you for my gorgeous ATC, it's good to see that you went away laden as well, lol! G and I went for a walk around Shrewsbury on Tuesday, it's such a pretty place - we loved the all the little alleys and back lanes!

  8. It was a wonderful surprise to see you, and so sweet of your family to wait...probably far longer than they expected to! Both of your ATCs sets are wonderful, they really show the artist in you.

  9. I love your 'time' ATCs, they are gorgeous, as are the ones you received back. How lucky you were to be near enough to get to the crop, if only for an hour or so - it looks like such a wonderful time as had by everyone.
Hope you have a great week,
    Diana xx #20

  10. Hi Zsuzsa, I was so pleased you were able to drop in on Saturday. It was lovely to meet you at last. Seeing you arrive really was the icing on the cake! Lots of chat, lots of cake, not much crafting ... but what a day was had by all. We are a talented bunch of ladies, and I too went home with lots of lovely ATCs. Thank you so much for yours, and the lovely envelope and extras. Have a lovely week Heather xx #6

  11. Hi Zsuzsa, lucky you for being able to call in at the crop even if it wasn't for long. Gorgeous collection of new ATCs too and all the ones you received. Wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x17x

  12. Thanks for your visit, Zsuzsa! It was definitely too far for me to travel. Being in Devon we are a bit cut off from the rest of the world unfortunately. Everyone was thrilled to see you, though, weren't they! I agree that someone needs to invent teleporting, but once I get my new funky wheelchair, who knows how far I might be able to travel in a jiffy?! Demo tomorrow. It's going to be fun. Completing the form was beyond frustrating - the whole thing is stressful and depressing and it's done my head in and made me feel really poorly. No guarantee of success, either... I hate the whole thing!

  13. I am so sorry to have taken so long to visit. Unfortunately, my electricity was off this afternoon and into the night due to the storms. Now it is back on and I'm trying to play catch up.

It was good to see you at the crop. Pardon me for saying this (since I am 4'11") but you are TALL! I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to make some of my ICADs similar to your emotions tag book you shared last week. You truly inspired me!! Happy WOYWW from #3.

  20. I didn't get to see Shrewsbury but my other half did and he said it was beautiful. He took a couple of photos of The Dingle and I want to go there next time. So glad you and your family enjoyed it.
As for the Crop well, it was lovely and made all the better by a flash visit from you. I have been wanting to meet you for such a long long time and at last I have. Now I can think of you as you were on Saturday when I visit your blog. Thanks for coming along. Thanks too for the beautiful ATC and the Gelli Print envelope.
    Until next time

  21. I love your ATCs! And so nice to have received so many at the crop! Everyone seems to have had a very good time! Inky does not catch anything, but Mittsy caught a mouse once, so I'm not confident she won't catch something else! So far the birds and squirrels have evaded her. Have a wonderful week, scratches to Oreo! Lindart #32
