Ladies and ...erm.. ladies! In honour of December 1st, I present a tidy desk! Tada! I does happen, you know, however rarely. I've even changed my paint water!
On the left is my completed scrap journal and on the right is my advent journal for this year. I will follow the prompts from Michelle and Tamara on Instagram. The prompts are not necessarily Christmas related - it's just a way of spending some creative time during the run-up to Christmas.
I'll show you a before photo as well, just for good measure:
And here are the last pages in my scrap journal. I might do a flip-through later. I've finally found an easy way to repost photos/videos from my Instagram feed to my blog. For those who are interested: you have to copy the post URL into this website and download from there. It finds all the photos and videos related to each post. By the way, butterflies, moths and dragonflies are banned from my advent journal! I think I've OD-ed on them.
Brrrrr. We had snow one of the nights but we only knew because it was on our security camera as there was none when we woke up thankfully. I love your pages.

Blimey, I though I’d come to the wrong blog when I saw that tidy desk…..😂😂😂 Kidding! Your journal is exquisite, each page a work of art in its own right. I’m very envious of your little village, I’m a sucker for small houses like that. Oreo looks so sleek and shiny and boy, does he know it!

Doesn’t Oreo look smart! Bella and Gracie send him a purr. Your journal is beautiful. I love the dragonfly one.
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy WOYWW

Oh the little house are so very diddy and cute. nd the cat looks a bit like Godzilla, looming over them LOL! The journal is still as breathtaking as ever and each week I am more blown away. I agree with your comment,a single overall die for alllll of the stamps in Tim's set would be ever so handy! Ah well. There must be a reason why he hasn't done it. I'm betting even pressure across all of the area might be why - or that's my guess, because that man does not miss a trick to make a mint :) Maybe one day....
ReplyDeleteHappy December & Happy WOYWW!

Gosh, how big is your garden? it looks massive - like a paddock!
ReplyDeleteOnce again you have wowed me with your journaling. I do love seeing your pages, butterflies, dragonflies or not.
Did you make the Advent village? And is Oreo sat there because he can smell chocolate? Love the official photo, very regal cat!
Have a good week.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx
ps I can understand you in Home Bargains - I must admit I took mine off after the first ten minutes in the hairdressers, I was the only one wearing one. Oh dear, two suspect cases of the new variant in our home town. Back to the caravan as soon as. x
Your journal is stunning - the pages are so beautiful and I strongly believe you can't have too many butterflies, moths and dragonflies! The photo of Oreo is lovely - he looks so handsome and regal. I hope we don't get snow down here, it's beautiful to look at but I can't stay upright on it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Diana xx #15
Fabulous journal pages - you can’t ban butterflies! How about a tiny one? Love those little houses and the hidden chocolates :). Happy WOYWW #13
ReplyDeleteOh Wow! such a tidy desk, the second photo makes me feel better though Lol! I watched the snow but it's made me feel all cold! Loving the photos of Oreo he's such a sweetie. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x16x
ReplyDeletethe advent village is so pretty - I know we're meant to be admiring Oreo! well done on your tidy desk - although being me, I prefer the "before" but I'm a messy slob! I would love to come and create journals with you, those pages are just fantastic. Hope you have a great week - oh, and no, Kew is too far to walk sadly (or I'd never be away from the place!) ReplyDeleteSuper journal, now thinking I ought to have started one for Advent! Still have time I suppose. Love the village good job cats don't like chocolate - LOL. BJ#7
ReplyDeletePS My son has been learning Japanese too and now more so German as he has a German g/f. He certainly wasn't a linguist in school and I even got him out of doing a language at GCSE. I'm not a linguist either but did surprise my son at how much French I'd absorbed when he had to do that in school, although the Spanish was new to us both. I did Welsh and Latin in school along with French. Hebrew is a totally different ball game.
I do love that shot of the side of your journal and the paint spattered desk backgrounds of your other photos ♥ We are enjoying hot sunny weather here. Only 2 more weeks until my summer holidays thank goodness. I can't believe you have snow there!
ReplyDeleteI had to clear snow off the car again this morning Zsuzsa. Enjoy your advent journaling. The butterfly/dragonfly themed journal is fabulous. Meow to Oreo. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteAs always, Zsuzsa, a feast for the eyes. That scrap journal is amazing, even if you've OD'd on parts of it! Love seeing Oreo with the village - how is he no knocking them off the table???!!!

ReplyDeleteI cannot tell you enough how much I adore your pages my friend! And your advent houses look adorable with Oreo! I bet he wishes for a Lindt chocolate too! He he, hugs, Autumn
ReplyDeleteYour scrap journal looks amazing, I don't think i've ever had the courage to say one is finished, how i'd love to flip through it for real.. You'll be like a child with a brand new text book when you delve into a new one.
ReplyDeleteOreo looks like he has a cunning plan to find those advent chocs hee hee.
Freya is recovering from being spayed so has had extra treats this past fortnight. She'll be glad to see the back of her medical suit.
Thank you for your lovely comments I discovered them yesterday evening in my spam with a handful of others boooo..
Hope I get to drop by WoywW before the end of the year.
Happy creative December HUGS Tracey xx
That’s a very lovely portrait of Oreo, he’s a very suave chap isn’t he! I love your advent village, it is so pretty. Your tidied desk shot made me panic - I thought you might be suddenly moving!! If you can do the advent journal without the whisper of a butterfly or moth wing, I’ll eat my hat. Well I won’t, but I’ll be ever so surprised!
ReplyDeleteFabulous journal pages, Zsuzsa! And, of course, I am glad to see Oreo again. As it is a bit early to wish you happy holidays, I wish you a creative and happy December!
