WOYWW #521: Daily Emotions Tag Book

Traditionally, the week after our WOYWW anniversary ATC swap, I  would share the ATCs I made and received, but I've been asked to keep some of them under wraps until after the crop this year, so I'm going to share all of them together next week. Instead, I'll show you what I made on Sunday! Here's the obligatory desk shot during the process:

I took part in Kasia Avery's Daily Emotions three-day challenge in the Everything Art Playground FB group. I adapted the prompts a little and worked on tags instead of pages and bound them in a tag book (thanks Lynette for sharing the link!). It was supposed to be a 3-day project, but I did it in one sitting. Here are all my tags laid out and I also made a quick video flip-through once they were bound together. First, an in-between look, followed by the completed tags:

I plan to be back next week sharing all my ATCs. Thank you all so much who swapped with me - it was lovely getting them in the post! Those of you who are going, have fun at the crop. There's a very remote chance I might be able to pop in and just say hello if I can get my family to do a day trip on Saturday, otherwise I'll see you again next Wednesday! xx

That tag book is amazing. I haven't had time to see Kasia's workshop, but you very much tempt me to go and look. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #12

  7. I was wrong, Zsu Zsa. I clicked on the lady's blog who created the Dress Up Project and her blog is still there. She just abandoned it, is all. Sorry I misled you and everyone.

  9. Hi Zsuzsa, Wow that would be great if you were able to pop in and say hello at the Crop. Just mention to your family that there will be cake on offer, that should swing it! Thank you for my lovely ATC. I'm also saving them all for a post next week. Glad you received yours ok. Thanks for popping by earlier - I was amazed by our garden visitor. We have squirrels and a fox occasionally, but haven't seen any deer in years. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #11 ... fingers crossed we see you on Saturday!

  11. Fabulous tags, Zsuzsa, and I loved your little video too. What was the gorgeous music? Thank you for your visit and your birthday wishes for tomorrow. We're off to my sister's in the a.m. and will spend the day with her (Dorset). You are right - it really is the season for celebrations chez Shosh. I get to keep my cards up for the longest, though, tee-hee, because my birthday marks the grand finale!! All my hubby's cards will come down tomorrow (well, it's today really because it's now 1 a.m.! Yaayy! My birthday!!) I agree about the politics. Imagine what it's like being a Brexiteer, living with a Remainer (my hubby). Politics tends to be a non-subject in this house or we fall out. He did think the video was quite funny though. You are absolutely right about the benefits people. They have a deliberate policy of refusing lots of people in the hope they won't bother to appeal, as a way of saving money. The only problem is, it's the most vulnerable who find it hardest to appeal and get what they need, and they are the ones who need it the most. The whole system stinks. All because of a minority who abuse the system. I'm struggling with it because it does my head in, constantly emphasising the negatives instead of my normal way of thinking which is to think positive, and not dwell on my illnesses! I'm determined to get through it in the end though.

    Happy WOYWW,

  12. Hi Zsuzsa, I've just popped back to let you know about the fern dies I used and can't find my comment from yesterday - I know I commented, so how strange, I wonder what happened to it! Your tags are beautiful and I love the way you've bound them into a little book - such a great idea, and I shall be looking at the link - thank you for that. I love your ATC and am thrilled with the beautiful collage images, and I love the hand printed envelope and card too - you are such a talented lady!
Oh I nearly forgot - I'm pretty sure the fern dies are from Tattered Lace, either 'Ferns' or 'Paradise Ferns'.
    Have a happy week,
    Diana xx
